Shaping the Future of Retail Spaces with Grace Construction Management

Retail spaces are evolving faster than ever, and at Grace Construction Management, we're proud to be at the forefront of these changes. As consumer expectations grow, we're helping our clients create retail environments that are not only functional but also innovative and future-ready. Our extensive portfolio of projects across the region demonstrates our commitment to quality, sustainability, and forward-thinking design.

Leading with Large-Scale Retail Projects

One of our most significant projects is the Walmart Super Center in Hilltown, PA. This ground-up project spanned 120,000 square feet and was completed over 16 months. The scope included everything from a nursery and garden center to a refrigerated supermarket, optometry vision center, pharmacy, and a Subway market customer service center. We also took on extensive site work, including granite blasting, soil-nail wall construction, and utility tie-ins. This project set the standard for large-scale retail developments, showcasing our ability to manage complex builds with precision and expertise.

Revitalizing Commercial Spaces

At Grace, we believe in breathing new life into existing spaces, transforming them into vibrant retail hubs. The Richboro Plaza in Richboro, PA, is a prime example of this. We revitalized over 25,000 square feet of commercial space, focusing on exterior façade resurfacing, roofing, windows and doors, and masonry brickwork. Improvements to asphalt and concrete surfaces rounded out the project, ensuring the plaza remains a key destination for shoppers in the area.

Similarly, our work on the Shops at Windsor Green in Princeton, NJ, involved construction on 157,000 square feet of commercial space. This project included upgraded steel reinforcement, complete exterior façade resurfacing, roofing, and masonry brickwork. By improving the site's infrastructure, we ensured that Windsor Green continues to attract both retailers and customers alike.

Fast-Tracked and Specialized Retail Builds

Speed and specialization are often critical in retail construction. Our work on the Walmart Super Center in Warminster, PA, is a testament to this. Over 12 months, we completely gutted and remodeled a 90,000 square foot space. The project included removing outdated structures like the nursery and garden center and updating critical areas such as the refrigerated supermarket, optometry vision center, and pharmacy. Our efficient approach ensured minimal disruption while delivering a modern, customer-friendly environment.

We also demonstrated our capability in fast-track projects with the Wawa in Cinnaminson, NJ. Completed in just six months, this 5,585 square foot retail convenience market included a gasoline service station and extensive site work. The project featured a commercial food prep kitchen, walk-in freezer/refrigerators, and retail area, all designed to meet Wawa's high standards for quality and functionality.

Enhancing Customer Experiences

Retail is about more than just shopping; it's about creating memorable experiences. The Rizzieri Salon & Spa in Moorestown, NJ, is a perfect example. This 14,400 square foot build-out at the Moorestown Indoor Mall included a new exterior façade and an elaborate sign package. Inside, the space was transformed into a luxurious salon and spa, complete with beauty stations, a nail salon, barber shop, medical treatment spa, and more. This custom project was completed in six months, creating a welcoming and sophisticated environment for clients.

Our work at the Greentree Shopping Center in Marlton, NJ, also highlights our focus on enhancing the customer experience. This project involved revitalizing over 130,000 square feet of commercial space, including upgraded steel reinforcement, exterior façade resurfacing, and improvements to asphalt and concrete surfaces. By modernizing this shopping center, we helped create a more inviting and functional space for both retailers and customers.

Specialized Retail Construction

Our expertise extends to specialized retail environments, such as the Floor & Decor in Moorestown, NJ. Over eight months, we completed a 65,422 square foot project that included structural improvements, retail sales floor enhancements, and the addition of new loading and receiving areas. This project required precise attention to detail and a deep understanding of the specific needs of a large-format retail operation.

Another example of our specialized work is the Burlington store in Burlington, NJ. This ground-up project, covering 40,447 square feet, was completed in six months. The build included a sales floor, fitting rooms, manager's office, and back-of-house facilities such as breakrooms, storage, and loading docks. Our ability to deliver on time and within budget ensured that Burlington could open its doors to customers as scheduled.
